Title tags
Google measures titles by pixel width, not character count. Desktop titles get truncated around 580px (roughly 50-60 characters). Mobile is more generous at about 920px. This tool measures actual pixel width using the same font Google uses, so you get an accurate preview.Meta descriptions
Descriptions typically show up to 155-160 characters on desktop. Google often rewrites your description if it thinks it has a better match for the query, but a well-written one still appears the majority of the time. Including your target keyword naturally increases the chances of Google using yours.Rich results
Stars, FAQs, and sitelinks appear when Google finds structured data on your page. They take up more space in the results, which typically improves click-through rates. Use the toggle options below to see how these look.Social sharing
Facebook and Twitter use Open Graph (og:) and Twitter Card (twitter:) meta tags to build previews when someone shares your link. If these tags are missing, the platforms will guess from your page content … and they usually guess badly.
